“I AM” my brother’s keeper.
Each year the Caribbean finds itself more and more vulnerable to the natural phenomenon of what has become a very fluid and violent Hurricane Season and each year, those of us who are privileged to call these small group of islands, home, give a helping hand to help our brothers and sisters pick up the pieces.
‘If we are not our brother’s keeper then who?’
This highly volatile 2017 Hurricane Season has made the Caribbean brotherhood, at home and abroad, spring to action to help the thousands of West Indians left disoriented, desolate, homeless without food and water and every basic amenity you could possibly think of.
‘We are one Caribbean.’
We each have the responsibility to assist with every rebuilding effort, as we never know when we may need help too as we are only as strong as our weakest link.
This heartfelt sentiment is the catalyst behind this Regional Fundraising Programme the I Am Live Aid Project.
Scheduled for October 29th, 2017, in Barbados, will be available on CaribVision and the Caribbean Media Corporation and its network of over 30 stations inclusive of radio stations.
Event proceeds benefit the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA).
